Honeywell Niagara Controls Installation, Programming & Service

Honeywell owns Niagara, and its current controls run on it. We install, program, and service Honeywell Optimizer controllers, WEBs-N4 supervisors, and CIPer and Spyder controllers, and bring older Excel 5000 sites onto Niagara.

Honeywell owns Tridium, the company behind the Niagara Framework, and its current building controls are built on it. The Optimizer Suite covers Niagara-based plant and integration controllers, unitary and VAV controllers, and the Optimizer Supervisor; WEBs-N4 supervisors run on WEB-8000 controllers and servers; CIPer controllers are Niagara-based IP controllers; and Spyder controllers are programmed from WEBStation-N4, Honeywell's Niagara Workbench. A Honeywell building is engineered with the same tools, drivers, and standards as the rest of a Niagara portfolio, and it brings in other brands over BACnet. Vertex installs new Honeywell Niagara systems, expands existing ones, programs sequences and graphics, and brings older Excel 5000 sites onto Niagara in phases.

Excel 5000 upgrades onto Niagara

Excel 5000 sites moved in phases: Honeywell's C-Bus integration module puts the existing XL5000 controllers under a Niagara supervisor first, and controllers are replaced as they fail or as budget allows.

Honeywell questions we hear

Is Honeywell's system the same as Niagara?
Honeywell's current controls are built on Niagara 4. WEBs-N4 and Optimizer Supervisor are Honeywell's Niagara 4 supervisors, WEBStation-N4 is its branded Niagara Workbench, and Optimizer and CIPer controllers run Niagara, so Niagara-certified technicians engineer and service them with the same tools.
Do you install new Honeywell systems or only service existing ones?
Both. We install new Optimizer, WEBs-N4, CIPer, and Spyder systems, expand existing Honeywell sites, and service and upgrade older Excel 5000 systems.
Can you upgrade our Excel 5000 system?
Yes, in phases. Honeywell's C-Bus integration module brings existing XL5000 controllers under a Niagara supervisor without replacing them, so the front end moves first and controllers are replaced as they fail or as budget allows, reusing wiring and field devices that are still sound.
Do you program Spyder controllers?
Yes. We program Spyder applications for VAV boxes, rooftop units, air handlers, and unitary equipment with the Spyder Tool in WEBStation-N4 and integrate them into the building's Niagara front end.
Do you work on Honeywell systems outside Louisiana?
Yes. We are on-site across Louisiana, travel nationwide for Honeywell installation and commissioning work, and support systems remotely in all 50 states over secure VPN.
