Distech Controls, based in Brossard, Québec, and part of Acuity, builds open, IP-based building controls. Its Eclypse family runs from the ECY-APEX flagship and the modular ECY-S1000 Connected System Controller for central plants and large air handlers, through the ECY-400 and ECY-600 series for equipment and plant control, down to VAV and terminal unit controllers. Eclypse controllers are BTL-listed, communicate natively over BACnet/IP with MS/TP and BACnet/SC support, and are programmed in Distech's EC-gfxProgram graphical environment. For Niagara sites, Distech also offers EC-Net, its Niagara 4-based software, and the EC-BOS-9 Niagara 4 building controller, while Resense and Allure room devices handle the occupant side. Vertex installs, programs, and services Distech systems for new construction and retrofits, and ties them into Niagara 4 or another BACnet front end.

What is Distech Controls Eclypse?
Distech's family of IP-based building controllers. Eclypse controllers are BTL-listed, communicate natively over BACnet/IP, and are programmed in Distech's EC-gfxProgram graphical environment.
Can Distech Eclypse controllers work with Niagara?
Yes. Eclypse controllers aren't Niagara-based themselves, but they communicate over BACnet/IP, so they integrate into a Niagara 4 supervisor, including Distech's own EC-Net, which then handles graphics, trends, and alarms across the building.
Do you install Distech on retrofits as well as new construction?
Both. We design the panels and IP network, install and wire the controllers and room devices, program and commission the sequences, and hand over documentation.
Do you service existing Distech systems?
Yes. We troubleshoot, update, and expand Distech systems whether we installed them or inherited them from another contractor.
Do you work on Distech Controls systems outside Louisiana?
Yes. We are on-site across Louisiana, travel nationwide for Distech Controls installation and commissioning work, and support systems remotely in all 50 states over secure VPN.
